VISCERAL MANIPULATION

VM was an essential part of my SIBO treatment. Not only did it help my bloating during treatment, it helps keep SIBO gone."

- Jacob, patient

Visceral Manipulation

Visceral Manipulation is a technique of realigning the organs, or viscera, of the abdominal and pelvic cavity. Many bodies experience areas of restriction due to chronic stress, surgeries, bowel or hormonal dysfunction, or trauma. These forces impact how our organs function. Visceral Manipulation helps to reestablish alignment, digestive flow, and hormonal communication between the organs.

What can I expect?

Visceral Manipulation uses various levels of pressure to assess and correct structure within the abdomen and pelvis. Dr. Sand will share her assessment and outline a plan which may involve slow and gentle realigning or deeper pressure as indicated and tolerated.  Dr. Sand often sends her patients home with some at-home treatments patients can do on themselves to help with symptoms.
