Dr. Sand adheres to the laws outlined by the State of Oregon and Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine. Out-of-state consults are strictly educational in nature and are not intended to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. Dr. Sand is unable to order any labs, prescribe pharmaceutical medications, or act as your physician in any way.

Please note: Dr. Sand is unable to accept insurance for out-of-state virtual consults. All virtual consults use time of service pricing.

Set Up a Virtual Consult

INITIAL CONSULT

Call our front desk at 503-701-8766 to schedule a new client visit.
Wait for confirmation email sent by Dr. Sand's team email with required paperwork.
Fill out the required paperwork (Naturopathic Intake, HIPPA, Financial Responsibility and, Virtual Consult Release) and email completed forms. You can also access the forms using the link below
- All paperwork is required prior to the start of the visit. If the paperwork is not completed, the appointment will be cancelled and you may be charged a late cancellation fee.

FOLLOW UP CONSULT

Use Schedulicity or call our front desk staff. Follow up virtual consults are 60 minutes or 30 minutes.

Virtual Consult Instructions

CONFIRMATION EMAIL & REQUIRED PAPERWORK

Prior to your scheduled visit, you will receive an email with a link to Doxy's* virtual waiting room and the required paperwork.

APPOINTMENT TIME

When it is time for your appointment, click the link to Doxy* and enter your name. This will bring you to Dr. Sand's virtual waiting room.
- Dr. Sand will initiate the call when it is time to start.
Initial visits are 90 minutes and follow up visits are 30-60 minutes, depending on consult complexity.
At the end of the appointment, Dr. Sand will collect your credit card information for the cost of the visit.
